Triangle Midwives is a practice of six Certified Nurse-Midwives who care for and support the health care needs of women in the Triangle area. We are a cohesive and experienced group of professionals who work together to provide you the best care possible for your pregnancy and overall healthcare needs.
Our Certified Nurse-Midwives offer expert care throughout your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum experiences. Below is an overview of obstetrical services offered by our CNMs.
Our midwifery team provides 24/7 nurse midwifery care to our patients during their hospital stay. The hospital provides an encouraging and compassionate environment in which we can help families to have the labor and delivery experience that they desire. We listen to our patients, respect their wishes, and work collaboratively to provide a safe and meaningful birth experience for all patients and their families.
Certified Nurse-Midwives are advanced practice registered nurses who have completed a formal training program focusing on taking care of the healthcare needs of women throughout the lifespan. All of our nurse-midwives have graduate degrees, have passed a national certification exam, and are certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. We work collaboratively with the doctors at TP4W in order to provide our patients with a team approach to comprehensive care.
Our midwives are dedicated to the health and well-being of patients at all stages of life. Click below to learn more about the gynecologic services provided by our midwives.

Regular mammograms are recommended for women starting at age 40, or earlier if there is a family history of breast cancer.
Breast cancer can occur at any age, so it's important to know your risk factors and talk to your healthcare provider about when to start screening.
Self-exams are also an important part of breast health and should be performed regularly.
Breastfeeding, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol consumption can help lower your risk of developing breast cancer.
