Subhratha Maredia, MD, FACOG is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She is originally from Michigan where she attended the University of Michigan for college. She then went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati and stayed in the Cincinnati area for residency training at TriHealth hospitals, where she was awarded “Best Overall Resident”. Dr. Maredia practiced full-scope OB/GYN care at both the University of Texas-Houston and Duke University prior to joining Triangle Physicians for Women. She moved to the Cary area a few years ago to be closer to her family who live nearby.
Dr. Maredia takes great pride in being able care for women, especially through their most vulnerable stages of life, whether that be starting the first period as an adolescent, navigating pregnancy and childbirth, or experiencing the menopausal transition. She employs both medical and surgical approaches to treatment with a focus on robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, infertility diagnosis and management, contraceptive care, and menopause therapies. She strives to make patients feel comfortable, listen thoroughly and to create a safe environment to discuss issues while finding the best, individualized treatment plan for each patient. She has a particular interest in caring for patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Outside of work, Dr. Maredia enjoys cooking, biking, running and playing pickleball. She loves to spend time with her daughter and dog, Max!
Everything about my visit was wonderful. Check-in was very painless. I didn't wait in the lobby more than 5 minutes to be called back. Dr. Maredia's medical assistant was very sweet and thorough. Once in the room I had a very short wait. Dr. Maredia is one of a kind, she takes the time to really get to know her patients and doesn't seem rushed to get to her next patient. She makes sure that her patients are comfortable with the treatment plan and is sure to answer all questions that you may have. I also received my test results very quickly and will be returning to see Dr. Maredia.
I loved how Dr. Maredia asked me what I was worried about and listened to everything I had to say. She helped me understand what goes on in my body. She was very knowledgeable in everything I had concerns about and took the worry away from me!
Front desk was welcoming, MA was friendly and professional. Dr. Maredia gave me options and I chose to have surgery . The hospital staff was great to!
The clinic was highly recommended by my provider. Doctor Subhratha Maredia has exceptional communication skills and gave the best level of care for new patients.
Dr. Maredia is amazing. I was a patient of hers at another practice and when I found out she moved to TP4W, I had to make sure I was a patient of hers. Everyone in the office was so kind. Dr. Maredia really took the time to talk to me and she answered all of my questions. It is rare to not feel rushed with a healthcare provider these days. I feel so fortunate to be under her care, especially while planning to enter the pregnancy stage of life. She is so wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The entire practice is wonderful and I would highly recommend to any woman looking for a new provider/practice.
Dr. Maredia is AWESOME!!!! She is friendly, patient and pays attention to detail with her patients! I highly recommend her! I am lucky and blessed she is my GYN!
Dr. Maredia was wonderful. She took her time and answered all of my questions and reviewed treatment options for a hysterectomy. I left feeling very comfortable with our conversation and the decision that was made.
The doctor was phenomenal! She covered for the ultrasound tech who was out and was so kind and caring. The entire appointment was comforting to have when I came in extremely scared and worried.
Front desk was very friendly and attentive. I did not wait long at all. And, most importantly, Dr. Maredia was amazing. It has been a very long time since I felt honestly heard at a gynecology appointment. I very much appreciated her willingness to listen and her feedback/recs. I left feeling hopeful with my long standing concerns and the direction on we are going.
I showed up early to my appt. The front desk was welcoming, professional and efficient. They brought me right back to the Dr's nurse. She was fabulous! She introduced herself and I felt at ease. Going to a new Dr. after 15 years is not easy. The Dr. was so kind! So easy to talk to, she let me guide the conversation and gave me a plan. Exceptional service and I'm so thankful to have found my new office.
