Dr. Casey Cooper joined Triangle Physicians for Women in 2022. Dr. Cooper grew up in southwestern Virginia, attended medical school at The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Virginia Campus), and completed her OB-GYN residency training at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga. She enjoys the variety that working as an OB-GYN provides, including seeing a wide age range of patients, performing surgery, and being a part of deliveries.
Outside of taking care of her patients, Dr. Cooper loves trying new restaurants, exploring the outdoors, and cooking. She is excited to settle into the Cary community with her husband (a Raleigh native & NC State graduate), daughter, and two golden retrievers!

My doctor, Casey Cooper, was so supportive and caring during a super hard time in my life when I suffered a miscarriage. She was empathetic and listened to my concerns and never made me feel ashamed or like it was my fault. I have never had a better OBGYN and could never see myself seeing anyone other than Dr. Cooper. She even took the time before surgery to sit by me and rub my hand to soothe me, as she could tell it was difficult for me.
Dr. Cooper takes her time talking and explaining and listening to you. She’s absolutely wonderful!
I was talked through all possibilities of my issue, what tests we would do, what she would be looking for, and what we could do moving forward. Very thorough and checked that I was following at every step. She rocked.
She is a very compassionate doctor. A great addition!
Dr. Cooper was very thorough in her questions and her exam. I never felt rushed. She took the time with me that I needed. I appreciate that so very much.
Dr. Cooper is an outstanding physician, and I'm incredibly grateful for her care. She combines professionalism, empathy, and expertise in a way that sets her apart. What truly stands out is her commitment to her patients. Dr. Cooper takes the time to listen and understand, going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Her knowledge and experience in obstetrics and gynecology are exceptional, providing a high level of confidence in her care.
Dr. Cooper took time to explain my conditions and the future treatment options. She patiently listened to our questions and answered everyone. I really liked the way she went through my history and problems.

Regular mammograms are recommended for women starting at age 40, or earlier if there is a family history of breast cancer.
Breast cancer can occur at any age, so it's important to know your risk factors and talk to your healthcare provider about when to start screening.
Self-exams are also an important part of breast health and should be performed regularly.
Breastfeeding, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol consumption can help lower your risk of developing breast cancer.
