Sameh K. Toma, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.


Dr. Toma graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1988 and completed his residency there in July 1992. During his residency he conducted significant research in and has published several articles about infertility, endometriosis, and fetal well-being. Dr. Toma, who holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, used his scientific background to develop a color ultrasound system for better diagnoses.

He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr Toma has extensive training in in-vitro fertilization and advanced reproduction surgery, including microsurgery for infertility, tubal ligation reversal surgery following tubal sterilization, and urinary incontinence and dysfunction in women.
