April Horner is delighted to make North Carolina her home after relocating here from Florida. She spent ten years in nursing at a high risk obstetrics practice and as a clinical instructor for nursing students before earning her Master of Science degree in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.
April is passionate about natural childbirth and VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). She’s excited to be a part of the collaborative environment at Triangle Physicians for Women where she can care for women throughout their lifespan.
When not working, April loves spending time outdoors with her friends and family exploring North Carolina’s natural beauty. She leads an active lifestyle with her husband and son.
